Description

The summer sun sets behind the fort at Grandes Rocques on Guernsey’s West coast. A beautiful sunset wasn’t looking likely but with some sea-mist approaching, there was an outside chance of something stunning happening. The mist remained at sea but the sun did make a short appearance through a break in the clouds, allowing me to capture this photo. The sun quickly disappeared again taking with it the brief moment of dramatic light.
