Description

I’m drawn to this tiny pebble beach on the eastern side of L’Ancresse Bay, which sits below a small abandoned granite quarry and I suspect those quarrymen had some influence on the perfectly straight channel that leads to the shoreline. I rarely shoot with such symmetry, or with such a featureless sky but on this occasion both seemed suitable, making the beautifully rounded blue granite pebbles the main subject of the image.
