A difficult photograph to take in low-light with a long lens while being battered by force-8 winds and horizontal rain. Le Hanois lighthouse stands strong during the first big storm of the winter, surrounded by heavy breaking waves. I intended to process this image in black and white, but felt that the deep emerald-green in the wave face, just below the lighthouse, was too important to the picture to remove.
