This panorama of the sand dunes and grass at Grandes Rocques, Guernsey, was stitched from 2 horizontal exposures while testing a new lens. Part of the beauty of landscape photography is that the conditions can often take you by surprise, which is what the sky did to me here. Soft pastel shades and low contrast give a less dramatic feel to this calming photo.
